Rapper's Tour Grosses Over $200 Million, Breaking Records
Travis Scott has made history with his "Circus Maximus" tour, which has officially become the highest-grossing tour by a solo rapper ever. The tour raked in over $209 million from 1.7 million tickets sold across 76 shows.
A standout moment was the tour's stop in Melbourne, where two sold-out shows generated a staggering $12.6 million from 115,000 attendees. The final nine shows of the tour alone accounted for 24% of the total attendance, highlighting the tour's immense popularity and fan engagement.
"Circus Maximus" surpassed Scott's previous record-breaking "Astroworld: Wish You Were Here" tour, selling more than twice the number of tickets and grossing triple the amount. While Jay-Z has sold over 2 million tickets on tour, he co-headlined the "On the Run II" tour with Beyoncé. 50 Cent's "The Final Lap" tour was the only other solo rap tour to surpass the 1 million ticket mark.
With this groundbreaking achievement, Travis Scott solidifies his position as one of the most influential and commercially successful artists in the music industry.
