Tina Knowles will be honoured as Billboard’s first-ever Mother of the Year at the 2025 Women in Music event on March 29 in Los Angeles. Known as the mother of global superstars Beyoncé and Solange, Knowles has long been more than just a supportive parent; she is a businesswoman, fashion designer, and philanthropist who has played a crucial role in shaping the entertainment industry.

As the creative force behind Destiny’s Child’s image, Knowles helped define an era of R&B fashion and branding, later launching her own clothing label, House of Deréon.
