The Weeknd continues the rollout for his latest album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, with the release of a visually striking music video for “Open Hearts.” Following the Eddie Alcazar-directed “Red Terror”, this latest visual offering pushes the boundaries of cinematic storytelling.
Known for his exploration of love, relationships, and heartbreak, The Weeknd blends high-tech innovation with his signature aesthetic. The video opens with a recommendation for viewers to experience it in Apple Immersive on Vision Pro, ensuring an optimal, next-level perspective. This marks yet another collaboration between The Weeknd and Apple, following last year’s “Dancing in the Flames” music video, which was entirely shot on an iPhone 16. The two had previously teased the Vision Pro experience for “Open Hearts”, and now, the full project is finally here.
In the video, The Weeknd sings from the back of an ambulance, symbolizing the emotional turbulence of love. As the journey unfolds, he eventually steps out onto a grand concert stage, delivering the song’s final verses in an electrifying performance.
