Compton Native Offers Support to Firefighters and Affected Residents
The Game is calling on the nation to focus on the devastating wildfires currently impacting Southern California. The rapper has been actively involved in relief efforts, providing support to firefighters and affected communities.
In a video posted on Instagram, The Game, wearing a Pasadena Fire Department hat, shared that he and his team have been on the ground, distributing essential supplies such as blankets, pillows, coffee, bananas, and water to firefighters battling the blazes. He praised the firefighters' efforts and announced plans to assist in rescuing and transporting animals to local shelters.
"It’s just a time where everybody needs everybody," The Game stated in the video. "It’s one of those times in America where everybody needs to hone in on what’s going on here."
In the accompanying caption, the Compton native expressed his heartfelt support for those affected by the disaster: “My heart goes out to each and every person directly affected, and those watching from all the world who are mentally in pieces over what has happened in my city. I am here for Los Angeles and I will always be here to do my part.”
The Game also shared resources for those who wish to contribute to the relief efforts, both locally and from afar.
