Apple TV has released the official trailer for "Underrated," a feature documentary that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. The film tells the coming-of-age story of Stephen Curry, a four-time NBA champion, two-time NBA MVP, nine-time NBA All-Star, and the all-time leader in three-point field goals.
"Underrated" combines intimate cinéma vérité, archival footage, and on-camera interviews to chronicle Curry's journey from being an undersized college player to becoming recognized as the greatest shooter in the history of the game. The film highlights his role as the centerpiece of one of the most dominant sports dynasties ever witnessed.
The project is a collaboration between Apple Original Films, Proximity Media, A24, and Curry's own production company, Unanimous Media. Directed by Peter Nicks and produced by Ryan Coogler and Erick Peyton, "Underrated" brings Curry's story to life.
Fans can look forward to the premiere of the "Underrated" documentary series exclusively on Apple TV+ on July 21.
