The year is just getting started, and Skepta is wasting no time in building anticipation. Having previously announced his inaugural Big Smoke Festival scheduled for July, the grime legend recently took to Instagram to reveal that 2024 holds even more exciting plans.

In his latest social media post, Skepta shared the news that his sixth studio album, titled "Knife and Fork," is in the works. Additionally, a lead single titled “Gas Me Up (Diligent)” will offer a preview of the project later this month. In the post's caption, he expressed gratitude for the ongoing support during his hiatus, stating, “It’s been years since I dropped my last album, and I want to thank you for all the love during my hiatus. I’ve seen the messages, tweets, and Tik Toks; I’m truly grateful that my music is still resonating with the world, even in my absence.”

As of now, Skepta has not provided specific details about the release date of his sixth studio album, "Knife and Fork," except for the lead single "Gas Me Up (Diligent)," which is set to drop on January 26. The album is expected to release later in 2024. Keep an eye out for updates as the artist's rollout unfolds in the coming months, with the Big Smoke Festival scheduled for July 6 in Crystal Palace Park.
