Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday 2 has officially achieved a new Spotify record and is poised for a No. 1 debut on the upcoming Billboard 200 chart.

Minaj shared the Spotify milestone on X, referencing an announcement from Chart Data. The data highlighted that Pink Friday 2, with an estimated 41 million streams over the weekend, has set a record as the female hip-hop album with the most significant debut in Spotify's history. Moreover, Chart Data revealed that the album has reached eligibility for a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), having sold at least 500,000 units in the United States.

According to projections from HITS Daily Double, Pink Friday 2 is expected to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, with 170,000 to 190,000 equivalent album units in its first week. If these forecasts hold true, it will signify the most substantial debut for a female rap artist in 2023.
