The Music Video Sees the Two Rappers Transform into Life-Size Barbie Dolls
Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice have joined forces once again for their latest collaboration titled "Barbie World," which is set to be featured on the soundtrack album of Greta Gerwig's movie "Barbie."
The song incorporates samples from Aqua's iconic track "Barbie Girl" and comes with a vibrant pink music video directed by Hannah Lux Davis. In the video, Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice transform into real-life Barbie dolls as they explore Barbie's dreamhouse, cruise around Barbie World, soar through the skies, and playfully intimidate men in suits with their towering heights—a nod to the first Barbie trailer.
"Barbie World" follows previously released tracks from the Barbie soundtrack, including Dua Lipa's "Dance The Night," Karol G and Aldo Ranks' "Watati," and PinkPantheress' "Angel." The soundtrack album will also feature songs from artists like Lizzo, Tame Impala, Charli XCX, and more, and will be released alongside the premiere of the film.
