After a year and a half of romance, Hollywood stars Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good are ready to say “I do.” The couple confirmed their engagement at the red carpet during the EBONY Power 100 Gala on Sunday evening (Nov. 17) at NYA Studios West in Los Angeles.

The occasion carried special meaning for the pair. It was the same event, two years prior, where their paths first crossed in an unexpected but memorable way.

“We met at this event in the unisex bathroom,” Meagan Good recalled with a laugh during an interview with E! News.

Radiating with happiness, Meagan proudly displayed her engagement ring on the red carpet. “We’re feeling great,” she shared, when asked about their holiday plans. Her fiancé, Jonathan Majors, added with a warm smile, “It’s a season of joy.”

“It’s a season of all the good things,” Meagan chimed in, to which Jonathan responded, “Amen.”

Majors and Meagan’s relationship first made headlines in May 2023, when the pair was spotted enjoying a movie date in Los Angeles. The sighting came nearly a year after Meagan finalised her divorce from pastor and film producer DeVon Franklin in June 2022.

What began as a quiet connection soon blossomed into a deeply committed partnership, with both stars openly supporting each other’s careers and personal journeys.
