Hip-hop fans have reason to celebrate as Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz have officially revealed the release date for their long-awaited album, WELCOME 2 COLLEGROVE. This collaborative project is scheduled to hit the airwaves on November 17, courtesy of Def Jam Recordings. Serving as the sequel to their 2016 collaboration, ColleGrove, this album has been a topic of discussion for over a year, with initial reports suggesting a 2022 release.
ColleGrove, which was technically categorized as 2 Chainz's third studio album due to Lil Wayne's label-related issues at the time, was initially released in March 2016. It quickly climbed the music charts, peaking at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
