What do you get when you mix a powerhouse producer/DJ like Kaytranada and a versatile, melodic rapper like Aminé? A KaytrAminé joint album! The two artists have formed a strong friendship over the years, which has finally led to a joint project set to release on May 19, 2023.
Last month, the duo blessed our ears with a playful, summer-appropriate anthem called "4EVA", which featured production assistance from Pharrell. They released its music video and performed it live for the first time during Kaytranada's dance-y set for weekend one of Coachella. Today, the duo unveiled the official tracklist for the record, which includes 11 songs. Other notable names that will be featured on the album include Freddie Gibbs, Big Sean, Snoop Dogg, and Amaarae.
The album, titled KaytrAminé, follows Kaytranada's BUBBA and Aminé's TwoPointFive, released in 2019 and 2021, respectively.
The cover art for the new album consists of a vacation-inspired vibe, with the two artists appearing laid back on beach chairs in summer-friendly outfits. Check out the full tracklist below.
