The Bronx rapper teams up with Nigerian singer Rema for a catchy track ahead of her "Saturday Night Live" debut.
Ice Spice and Afro-rave sensation Rema have released their much-anticipated collaboration, "Pretty Girl," after hinting at its impending arrival earlier this week.
Both artists took to social media to generate excitement just before the song's launch. The Bronx native, Ice Spice, shared her anticipation, posting "Pretty girl ft rema this friday" on X (formerly Twitter), to which Rema responded with enthusiasm and heart emojis, writing, "Okay icy 😘❄️."
The release of "Pretty Girl" coincides with Ice Spice's scheduled appearance as the musical guest for the 49th season premiere of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Pete Davidson. This track is the latest in a series of high-profile collaborations for Spice, including an invitation from Pinkydoll for a joint project and the release of "Barbie World" alongside Nicki Minaj in June. Spice also featured on Taylor Swift's "Karma (Remix)" in May.
Looking ahead, Ice Spice will be joining Doja Cat on select dates of her Scarlet Tour. Her Like..? EP, released in July, featured the hit single "Deli," which reached No. 41 on the Hot 100 chart, marking the 23-year-old rapper's highest solo entry on the Billboard songs chart.
To enjoy "Pretty Girl," head to Spotify, Apple Music, or your preferred streaming platform.
