Unknown T Unveils Collection at LABRUM's SS24 Runway Show
Foday Dumbuya, the founder of the LABRUM label, showcased his Spring/Summer 2024 collection at the Four Seasons hotel in Trinity Square during London Fashion Week. The collection, titled "NOMOLI ODYSSEY," paid homage to Dumbuya's Sierra Leone roots and celebrated the country's carved Nomoli figure.
LABRUM surprised the audience with an unexpected collaboration with Netflix and Hackney Wick FC, which was unveiled on the runway by British rapper Unknown T. The collaboration featured a bold green football jersey adorned with tonal UK postcodes and tinted zig-zag details. Collaborative logos were prominently displayed on the chest. Additionally, the collection showcased heavy-weight tracksuits with pyramid-shaped and gilded decor, as well as striking Nomoli masks, pierced shirting, and silk-trimmed garments with cracked attributes.
The collaboration was tied to the final season of the popular Netflix series "Top Boy," adding to the excitement of the collection's debut. These exclusive behind-the-scenes shots provide a closer look at the garments and the unique collaboration between LABRUM, Netflix, and Hackney Wick FC.
