"Scheduling Conflict" Cited for Abrupt Cancellation
Drake has canceled the remaining dates of his "Anita Max Wynn" tour in Australia and New Zealand, citing a "scheduling conflict."
Representatives for the artist confirmed the cancellation to Rolling Stone AU/NZ, stating, "We are actively working on rescheduling these dates along with adding some additional shows." They assured fans that "all tickets for the affected shows will remain valid for the new dates," and that "refunds will be available for those who prefer." However, they also noted that "as these shows are sold out, any refunded tickets will be released for sale."
The statement expressed apologies for the "inconvenience" and emphasized that "Drake and the entire team have had an incredible time doing these shows and are excited to return soon." They pledged to "share the rescheduled dates with you as soon as possible."
The cancelled shows include a Brisbane performance on March 4, a Sydney show on March 7, and two consecutive nights in Auckland on March 15 and 16. Drake has not yet publicly commented on the cancellations.
