A$AP Rocky has officially joined Ray-Ban as its inaugural Creative Director. This appointment formalizes the artist's long-standing affinity for the brand, as he's frequently seen sporting Ray-Ban sunglasses. Renowned for his influential style in both music and fashion, Rocky will now bring his creative vision to Ray-Ban Studios, further shaping the brand's direction.

To mark the beginning of his new role, Rocky is launching the "Blacked Out Collection" this April. This collection reimagines Ray-Ban's Mega Icons with a new lens type, perfectly timed for the upcoming sunny season. Rocky will oversee Ray-Ban Studios, a platform established in 2016 to celebrate the intersection of music and artistic expression.

In a statement, A$AP Rocky expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, saying, "I’ve always admired Ray-Ban’s ability to stay true to its roots while constantly evolving. I’m excited to be part of the strong heritage and develop the next chapter for an iconic brand like Ray-Ban."

The "Blacked Out Collection" blends Ray-Ban's classic designs with Rocky's distinctive aesthetic. The iconic styles are transformed into "Mega" versions, featuring gold-plated details and innovative ultra-black lenses. Rocky's creative input will extend beyond product design, encompassing campaign direction, retail store redesigns, and the integration of music, fashion, and the arts.
