The nominations for the 18th annual BET Hip Hop Awards have been revealed, and it's a star-studded lineup. 21 Savage and Cardi B lead the pack with 12 nominations each, followed by Drake with nine nominations, and Burna Boy and DJ Khaled with seven nominations each.

21 Savage is up for some of the night's biggest awards, including Hip-hop Artist of the Year, Lyricist of the Year, and Hip-hop Album of the Year for his collaboration album with Drake, "Her Loss." He's also nominated for Song of the Year for "Rich Flex" with Drake and "Sittin’ On Top Of The World" with Burna Boy. The latter track also earned a Best Collaboration nomination. Additionally, 21 Savage is in the running for the Hustler of the Year award and the Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse award.

Cardi B secured nominations for several prestigious awards, including Hip-hop Artist of the Year, Best Live Performer, Lyricist of the Year, and Hustler of the Year. She's nominated twice in the Best Hip-hop Video category for her collaborations with Latto on "Put It On Da Floor Again" and with GloRilla on "Tomorrow." These songs also earned her nominations in the Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, and Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse categories.

Drake follows closely with nine nominations, while J. Cole has six nominations, and Coi Leray, GloRilla, and Jay-Z each earned five nods.

The 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards are set to air on BET on October 10 at 9 p.m. local time. The nominations reflect the ongoing celebration of hip-hop's rich history and its ever-evolving creativity and diversity.
