Ye has unveiled the latest addition to his YZY footwear line: the SL-01 slippers. Staying true to his minimalist aesthetic and commitment to affordability, the new slip-ons boast a sleek, futuristic design.
The SL-01 slippers are presented in an all-black colorway, reflecting Ye's signature style. Designed for both simplicity and comfort, the lightweight construction provides a snug fit, while a textured outsole ensures grip and stability for everyday wear. Notably, the slippers are priced at just $20 USD. The release coincides with a new apparel collection designed by Gosh Rubchinskiy, which was previewed last month.
Ye's decision to offer the slippers at such an accessible price point underscores his desire to make his designs available to a wider audience. In a series of Instagram posts showcasing the SL-01s, Ye included the caption, "I don't collab." He also shared images of himself wearing the slippers at Hong Kong Airport from earlier last year. The slippers are now available for purchase online.
