The London-based artist and designer teams up with Netflix for a limited-edition sneaker inspired by the popular British crime drama.
London-based designer Lorenzo G Federici, known as LORENZ.OG, has unveiled a unique creation by reimagining the popular Air Max 95 silhouette to commemorate the release of the final season of Top Boy.
Federici has made a name for himself in the footwear industry with his distinctive "PATENTED COLORSCHEMES®," a term associated with the late Virgil Abloh. He has gained recognition both in Britain and internationally, collaborating with brands like Salomon and enlisting the participation of U.S. rapper Lil Yachty for his Arc’Teryx collection.
His latest custom Air Max 95 sneakers, part of a trio that includes pairs for Premier League footballers Erling Haaland and Marcus Rashford, pay tribute to the final season of Top Boy and are aptly named the "Summerhouse OG."
These Air Max 95s retain the classic silhouette but feature a vibrant color scheme on the lateral sides and upper, transitioning from gradient shades of purple to yellow, reminiscent of a sunset. The design incorporates black accents on the laces, rubber outsole, heel counter, tongue, lining, and toe cap.
Nike branding can be seen on the tongue, while the iconic Air bubbles on the outsole add to the lively appearance with a combination of purple and orange hues.
