In his 21st NBA season, LeBron James has achieved yet another milestone, solidifying his place in history. During Monday night's game against the Philadelphia 76ers, James surpassed the legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the all-time leader in minutes played in the NBA.

Achieving this feat within the first month of the regular season, James has exceeded the remarkable 66,300 minutes played mark. Demonstrating no signs of slowing down, James not only sets a new record but also establishes a higher standard for the upcoming generations. At 38 years old, with his 39th birthday approaching in December, James continues to showcase a level of play that is unparalleled.

In the game against the Sixers where he surpassed the record, the Lakers star went beyond Abdul-Jabbar's previous minutes record of 66,297. Karl Malone holds the third spot with 62,700 minutes, followed by Kobe Bryant and Dirk Nowitzki. Chris Paul, although currently the closest active player to James on the all-time minutes list, ranks 28th. Kevin Durant is another active player in the top 50. Notably, in the previous season, James also surpassed Abdul-Jabbar's all-time scoring record. In the ongoing season, James maintains impressive averages of 25.5 points, eight rebounds, and 6.6 assists, playing just under 34 minutes per game.
