Ademola Lookman once again proved he’s a force to be reckoned with, pulling off a jaw-dropping solo effort to equalize for Atalanta in a thrilling game, which sadly ended in a 2-3 loss to Napoli. In a moment that left fans on the edge of their seats, the Nigerian forward danced past four Napoli defenders with dazzling footwork to score a brilliant goal.
It all began in midfield, where Lookman shrugged off the challenge of Giovanni Di Lorenzo before charging forward, eyes set on goal. With three Napoli defenders in his path, the African Player of the Year weaved through them and, with remarkable composure, threaded his shot through a crowd of legs, nestling it into the bottom corner.
This sensational strike was the fourth of an electrifying encounter at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo, following goals from Mateo Retegui, Matteo Politano, Scott McTominay. Romelu Lukaku sealed the game for Napoli with a 78th minute finish.
