J. Cole has reassured fans that he's actively working on new music and is "locked in" on his creative process.

In a recent blog post on his "Inevitable" audio series website, Cole addressed his inconsistent blogging habits and pledged to be more engaged. "I knowwww mannnn. I'm off to a bad start with the consistency, but I'ma do better! Watch!!" he wrote.

He explained that he's been balancing family life with his dedication to music, a "juggling act" that's difficult to fully capture in a blog post. "But with that said, I'm back tending to this garden," he added, signaling his renewed focus on his artistic endeavors.

To foster a more vibrant online community, Cole also announced plans to invite other contributors to the blog. "I think I'm gonna let some other people post on here too, to get the vibes up," he shared. "It'll motivate me to check every day, and will fuel the desire to post more."

This upcoming project will be Cole's first release since his April 2024 mixtape, "Might Delete Later," which featured the controversial Kendrick Lamar diss track, "7 Minute Drill." Cole later publicly retracted the diss, expressing regret and removing the track from streaming platforms.

In the meantime, Cole has provided fans with a nostalgic treat by releasing his classic mixtapes, "The Come Up," "The Warm Up," and "Friday Night Lights," on streaming services last November.
