Halle Berry has made it clear that she did not grant permission for Drake to use a photo of her for the cover art of his latest single, "Slime You Out," featuring SZA. In response to a comment suggesting that Drake may have acquired the rights to the photo from Getty Images, Berry replied, “Cuz he asked me and i said NO that’s why. Why ask if you intend to do what you want to do! That was the [f*ck] you to me. Not cool You get it?”
On Instagram, Berry posted a message emphasizing the importance of being the bigger person in certain situations. She previously responded to a fan, confirming that Drake did not have her permission to use the photo, and expressed her disappointment. Despite this, Drake and his team have yet to respond to Berry's comments.
The photo used for the cover art is from the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, capturing Berry during the awards show as she was "getting slimed."
