After a successful debut at this year's London Film Festival, the upcoming thriller "The Kitchen," co-directed by Daniel Kaluuya and Kibwe Tavares, is set to arrive on Netflix next month. Providing a glimpse into the soon-to-be-released movie, the official trailer has now emerged online.

Penned by Kaluuya and Joe Murtagh, "The Kitchen" unfolds in a dystopian London where the socio-economic disparity between the rich and the poor has reached extreme levels. In this bleak setting, all social housing has been eliminated, leaving only "The Kitchen" standing—a resilient community unwilling to abandon the place they call home.

At this juncture in the narrative, Izi (Kane Robinson), the story's protagonist, is navigating life out of necessity, desperately seeking an escape. Simultaneously, 12-year-old Benji (Jedaiah Bannerman), who has lost his mother and is in search of her, forms an unexpected bond with Izi. Together, they grapple with building a connection in a system that clearly works against them.

Witness the official trailer for "The Kitchen" below, and mark your calendars as the movie is set to be available for streaming on Netflix starting January 19.
